Check the sizes of her other bras.

Sizes, especially larger ones, can differ between stores and ranges so if she seems to buy a lot of bras from the same place, especially if she's a bigger size, maybe stick to the same shop if they do the kind of thing you want.

Agree with Ethel here - men tend to buy the sort of bra they would like to see their girlfriend in which is, in most cases, the wrong size, shape and totally unwearable.

Good point about bra buying, I remember running the gauntlet through M&S with my ex and his underwear suggestions.

Similarly round valentines day, seeing all the guys trailing out of the posh underwear shops in town with very expensive "gifts" so much more for him than for her!

Why not get a beautiful nightie, a lovely (tastefully) lacy satin one or similar which is more practical. They tend to wrap them up beautifully in some of the shops like La Senza (though they tend to go straight from comfy to harlot in their nightwear).

My ex one produced a La Senza box and I was a dubious about the content. Turned out to be a beautifully wrapped pair of comfy jim jams :) I still have the lovely box, think it's a girl thing.

i have to disagree that women dont like bras that their man buys them as my hubby bought me a gorgeous freya bra set as a stocking filler and i love it, he always picks something really pretty and that fits. luckily he knows what i like and what suits me!

you could casualy ask her when you go shopping. Browse at things then you could ask, or check her underwear draw (you perv lol)
You need to take two measurements one under rib cage the other accross her bust, the middle of the bust. The store will help with the rest.
