I am looking to a good night's sleep tonight though Icy! I am back with the ex (dumped the dwarf) and I had forgotten that he likes to wake me up at least 3 times a bloody night (then he wonders why I am so grouchy in the mornings!). Just looking forward to a decent night's kip!

Depends, I tend to drift in and out usually as have really vivid dreams.

I usually have to have some waking up time though to wake up earlier then doze until I get up properly.

Getting to sleep is usually more of a problem but once there I'm guessing at least another two or three times, I rarely sleep the night through. The other night I had a dream in which I sat up bolt right from a nightmare... This dream repeated itself nine times before I actually did wake up! My friend was stopping over and in my dream I'd woken up and spoken to them each time, when I told them about it they confirmed that this was the first they were hearing about my dream.... Seriously, a repeative dream that I'm waking up from a nightmare nine times must mean I was a bad person in a previous life.

I used to go out like a light and sleep right through, I could sleep on a park bench, but lately I have been waking up several times a night, and have trouble even getting off to sleep. If I have to get up early for something special I tend to wake up every hour or so, as my mind is so concentrating on getting up in time.

Why is it you can't sleep at night yet when its time to get up you are tired?
