Labour

Hey Guys,
Due to have a baby in 5 weeks - I'm sooo scared. I know i don't have a choice, but any stories to make me feel better and less scared... Pleaasse :-(
People just keep telling me ghastly stories and it makes me feel worst. I know every labour is different, but just some advice to make me feel better would be nice.
I put it in this section because no-one got back to me in the correct one.
Thanks
xx

Hey congratulations! I have never given birth myself, but think about it...
Every single friend I've had who's been pregnant has ALWAYS answered "it was absolutely unbelievable" to my question "So, how was it?"
And believe me, these are girls who would describe anything else in the most goriest details!
Don't worry, you will be just fine. I know it's easy to say, but hey! You HAVE to do it, so you might as well go into it with a positive frame of mind! xxx

Had 3 kids - it is no where near as bad as people make out - if it was , would we keep going back for more - i think not
remember - you get no medals for being a martyr so accept painkillers if that is what you need and want. You won't remember much of the antenatal when you get there - but it all comes naturally and the nurses talk you through it, you leave your dignity at the door but let's face it - it's only a days work.
Good luck, young lady x
