I think I am missing something ... are fellow ABers saying I can view the 1911 census for Staffordshire NOW? Can anyone tell me how to do it? Please assume I am a dumbo, which I think I am as I can't see how to do this by searching myself..... TIA

If you registered to have email from the 1911 census site, then you have been given prior access. This is to see how the site works and we have to fill in a survey. It is not online for the general public yet, it just says that it will all be online in 2009. I am not sure if this will be 2 jan like the original 1901 census, I think it may be in April.
It is here: http://betav3.1911census.co.uk/

Although I think it was only for a few days and I'm not sure that you can still use it.

You have to buy credits - 6.75 for 60 and it cost 10 credits to view a transcription and 30 to view the actual census image.
