Best Manager in Prem
I am not an Everton fan but i must admit that David Moyes, is without doubt the best manager in the Prem at the present time, with the meagre funds he has had and the injury problems the club has had, to keep them in the top six this year, and how well they have done in the years since he arrived there, he is real manager, and he must be the best, anyone disagree,

Plays 'Best' Football - Wenger
Most Successful - Sir Alex
Done best on a budget - Martin O'Neil/Dave Moyes
Its all contextual - david moyes has done consistantly well, but everton was always a top club, and i would not expect them to be in bottom half....I think he has done a 'good job' but he hasnt smashed any expectations

No, by "best" I believe he means the equivalent of the pound for pound boxing measure. To take over a club that was perennially battling relegation, with a squad that had an average age of about 75 (Ginola, Gascoigne, Hughes, Gough etc.), that had been mismanaged at both board level (thank you very much Peter Johnson) and at pitch level (thank you for selling Dunne, Ball etc. Smith) for years and is devoid of a rich benefactor (thus discounting O'Neill's Villa achievements) and to turn it into a side that could consistently challenge in the top 6 is a monumental achievement.
I think my answer implies sufficiently that I'm an Everton fan so I'm bound to be somewhat biased! I agree that Ferguson has done great things at Utd (I presume you mean him, not Joe Kinnear or anybody!) I do, however, think that United were blessed by some fortuitous timing in their improvement under him - to win the cup in the first year British clubs could qualify for Europe and then to win the league in the first year of the highly lucrative Premiership is quite fortunate really (as opposed to, say, winning the Cup Winners Cup and the League in the year we were kicked out of Europe!)
That said, it would be remiss of me to undermine his achievements too heavily as it's not like anyone gave them their victories (Newcastle aside, of course) - I'm just loyal to Moysie is all!!
