How old is a 9 kg baby?

I'm thinking of buying a baby carrier sling for my iminent arrival. It's only suitable up to 9kg, but how old would a baby this heavy be?

Well one of my kids was 4.5 kg at newborn whereas my nephew was 2.3 kg newborn -it's a bit hard to say how old a 9kg baby would be.

at 6 month old my little one weighed 7kgs.

as a guide id say between 9months and just over a year

Yes redcrx is right. I just looked in one of my kids red health books, and the chart that they give you with the centiles on shows that on the 50th centile (average) a 9kg baby would be 9 months.
