does anybody know what the "coathanger" graffiti tag, that is all over france and spain means or stands for. i have seen alot around the perpigian area and am very curious to where it comes from and what it symbolises

I haven't seen the graffitti and I don't know if this is relevant, but in the US, coathangers are sometimes used as a symbol of illegal abortion. People wave coathangers at rallies to protect abortion rights, indicating they never want to go back to the days of "back alley" and home-remedy abortions.
