If i was trapped in a lift, would I eventually run out of air?

Not very likely, as they are not meant to be airtight
No 'cos don't most of them have like a hatch in the ceiling to allow for maintenance or something?  Opening this would let air in.

i'm only little - i wouldn't reach the hatch!

Keeping air out of a space is quite difficut, so it's highly unlikely that the lift would be airtight. Air would seep in through cracks and gaps, providing you with a never ending supply.

You would if the building was on fire. Hope it never happens.
