repair for worn laminate flooring

is there any special paint which can cover the white bits on a laminate floor? The white bits are round the edges where people's feet have worn the laminate away - its Pergo flooring.

Personally I think paint would look awful however well the colour match, especially if the sun ever shines in on it.

 

Can't think of anything else you could do, except replace it maybe. Sorry not very helpful.
