help with rover 200 !!

hi, i tried to lock my rover 200 r reg and it only locked the front 2 doors!
then had to open it manually and it wount now start, it wount even turn over, i thought it would be the remote fob ( 2 button ) which is apparently the usual suspect but i have changed the battery and its still no go, before the immobiliser light would flash on the dashboard and it would bleep at me untill ive pressed the unlock button, it now doesnt do anything ? ANY IDEAS !!!!! the car is now stuck outside my house abandoned. phil high wycombe,bucks

Hi Phil, A person at work had the same problem, check the car battery/connections, Clean the contacts in your remote fob.

the lights and everything still come on, the battery in the car seems fine
