Cleaning my electric drum pads

Ive recently purchased my first electric drum kit. The pads are becoming dusty as does anything, can anyone tell me what I should use to clean them so not to damage them? (wipes, warm water, window cleaner??????)

You don't mention what the pads are made from, but if they are rubber, i would simply recommend using a damp cloth as some cleaners may eat away at the rubber.
