Hi, I have a very specific question regarding one particular roundabout feel free to visit the hyperlinks within the post.
If one was travelling from Gipsy Lane & turned right at the end of this road.

Stayed in the right hand lane as approaching roundabout.

Went around the roundabout maintaining in the right hand lane all the way around, until the road natually splits
to become a middle lane. (you should see the marking in the road force the right hand lane to become middle lane)

Can a driver stay in this lane as to take the turning to St. Davids Way, 2nd exit. The first exit being the exit towards coventry.

If so, as far as I can see you would certainly be in the centre lane as you went past the first exit after going all the way round, but should get to the left lane before the second exit, as there is no break in the lane lines between lane 1 and 2 just before the second exit to allow you to enter the 2nd exit from the centre lane. However, I can't make out what is written on the road by the lane arrows indicating which traffic should be in which lane. I suspect these just indicate the 'main route' traffic and do not allow for the 2nd exit which appears to be a minor road. So I would say, no, you can't enter the 2nd exit from the centre lane...but I bet people do!!
It looks to me as if you 'should' come out of the junction in the left and middle lane but be in the left lane to take the 2nd exit. Otherwise you may cut someone up who is coming out on the left lane of the second entrance or who is already in the left lane taking the second exit.
However, roundabouts are not my fortay and I could be wrong.
