Schutz - I can only very vaguely remember some ditty called My Bruv Sylvest - but I can remember quite clearly Slade's My Friend Stan circa 1974. Silly lyrics - never really saw the point of the song - maybe I was missing something at that tender age?
And apparently, Piers Morgan recently referred to Noddy Holder as "genuinely one of the funniest people I have ever met" - now there's an accolade if ever there was one. Has anyone on here actually know or met Noddy Holder?
Personally I can't see the point, unless you are actually going somewhe, like france,
although my cousin is always down on his boat, It's on the Trent, he seldom sails it, just goes and tinkers about with it,
Slightly mad I think.
We sailed over to the Isli of Wiggetti - a great sail on the way over - only about 3 hours, & though cold was a bright sunny day & we got both sails up & the motor off - so proper sailing.
The way back - crap.
West coast of Wiggetti - Yarmouth to be precise. Ryde, Newton Creek, Cowes etc doesn't take so long, but Yarmouth is a few more miles around the corner.
I certainly couldn't, or would want to, swim it - especially in January.
