Does anyone know when the channel 4 tv series Garth merenghi's Darkplace will be released on dvd?  Or if it will at all?  And is there  a second series planned?

A DVD was confirmed at one stage, but the general feeling seems to be that it they haven't released it yet then they're not going to do so.

 

No Season 2 :-( , as ratings for Season 1 weren't good enough. But (first example I can think of - I know it's a different channel) "Sea of Souls" (which must be much more costly) gets a second season...

I'm still hoping for a DVD release too but in the meantime, if you use bittorrent, take a look at a website called UKnova.com

Go to ebay and do a search for Garth Marenghi (spelt with an a not an e) and you will find that some enterprising person has made a diy dvd of the whole series. Apparently the quality is quite good, i've just ordered a copy myself.
