It's so quiet BM. The work is coming in slowly but more general low value stuff (day to day resi and remo really) as my main worksource before were my investors. Some people with a decent deposit who don't need a high LTV mortgage are getting some very good bargains though.
I've gone from a team of 5 and getting 3 fee earners work in just for me to just me and so little work.
Just hoping the investors get some good funding options soon, all seems to be about lease options at the moment.
There is so much potential work out there, just not the funding to go with. I've got some lovely loyal clients who keep in touch so I know the potential is there which is lovely just not great for cashflow.
Got some commercial stuff as well but billing is pretty dire and the market is just crazy, so many friends made redundant as well.
The only saving grace is that it's everyone, not just us but at the same time, it still doesn't help.
There are signs the markets are starting to move a bit though and people are starting to look about.
