I've missed a few recent episodes-can anyone tell me what is the big thing that happened to Johnny's daughter Ruby as it must be serious as he constantly refers to it!Or have the writers not told us yet?!

All I know is that Johnny's late wife and other daughter died in a house fire... maybe Ruby was the cause of it?? Dunno yet!

Yes the above answer is correct and it was mentioned only once a few weeks ago. However there seems to be no explanation as to why he wants to keep his present girlfriend away from Ruby. By the way i think Ruby is an excellent casting and does a superb job. Very good actress and very likeable.

I think Johnny was seeing his girlfriend before the fire and that is why its a secret.

She said last night to Pat that she had been with him for 10 years. I assume this fire was more recent than that.

It seems Johnny doesnt want anyone to "replace" Rubys mum.

the writers havent told us yet but i reckon another gangsta set fire to the house thats why johnny has got such a big problem talking about it exspecially with ruby cause he feels its his fault and he was in tinas bed  the night it happened other wise he proberbly feels he could of saved them well thats what i think
