I got the answer by visiting this site and getting to know the experts. Then I googled with each of the surnames followed by the word Hall.

The experts are all grouped alphabetically so I suggest you start at the back.

I dont watch antiques roadshow religiously although I've seen it countless times over the years, but I've never seen either of thes guys on it .No wonder it took me so long.

I agree with the answer given that they are a father and son (all the facts seem to fit the question) but am worried by the question stating that ONE of the experts surname is the same.

They had to say one of the experts because if they had said two experts then it would have given the game away and it would have been obvious from the start.
