My gawd Julie, I haven't heard of anyone else I know who's watched, or remembers, Escape from Sobibor - I loved that film - I fell in love with Rutger Hauer in that. I like all holocaust & similar films (maybe like isn't the word; but you know what I mean).

Cider House Rules, Kite Runner, Lamb, Last King of Scotland, Hotel New Hampshire, Soldier Blue, 4 weddings & a Funeral, .......

I saw it as a two part TV film about 20 years ago Sal. I was blown away by it and still am although sadly, its a long time since i saw it. The ending is amazing but there are several bits in it that are equally emotional but for different reasons.
That film leaves me in tears for a good half hour after and then i cant get it out of my head. Rutger is fantastic isnt he?
