what is ctfmon.exe?

This is in my startup and I uncheck it and when I restart my computer it is checked again.

Ctfmon.exe activates the Alternative User Input Text Input Processor (TIP) and the Microsoft Office Language Bar.

Removing the Ctfmon.exe might cause problematic behavior in your Office XP programs, so removing it is not recommended.

Removing Ctfmon.exe from MSConfig does not disable Ctfmon.exe.

If you don't need Alternative User Input then uninstall it.br>
