Blindness

Left eye gone into spasm and greyed over causing blindness.....vision seems to be only top half in 'hole'. Feels quite odd and am hoping this wont last. Any ideas what it could be. Dont wear specs, take pills, drink alcohol but do smoke.

do you have any other symptoms? Could it be a blood clot/stroke?

no other symptoms.....the vision has returned after some prayers!

really don't want to alarm you but it could be a detatched retina and really needs checking out.

Left eye that was previously weaker in vision has vastly improved to match & balance vision of right eye............Result!

Just shows the delicacy of life......you dont know what will happen in the next moment. Live as if its your last breath!

Your description is insufficient to make a rational diagnosis on AB, but the commonest cause which comes to mind is MIGRAINE.

All the other answers are all relevant and points to the fact that your transitory symptom may need neurological investigation.
