Looking forward to the big day? I bet these people aren't.

Homeless people living in Washington city centre will be moved to the city's outskirts ahead of the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama, it has emerged.

well it wouldnt look very good as president obama was making his speech as a black tramp walked past carrying a bin liner would it now???......seems like he has forgotten his roots and descendancy already doesnt it???
If one of the first policies rolled out will be the saving of the US big 3 car manufacturers by pumping $billions into these failed auto gas guzzlers I hate to think where he will spend the rest.
The fact that homeless people are being hidden from view - in essence - has nothing in reality to do with Obama . this is what happens before any high profile event anyway . Olympic games generally see a good clean up of 'undesirables' for example . There would be no homeless there whoever was going to be inaugurated .
What homeless people , black or otherwise have to do with Obama's 'roots and descendancy' leaves me a bit baffled . Obama's roots are hardly of the poor downtrodden variety .
Good luck to the man - he's going to need it
Yes i'm looking forward to the event .

The problem is that so much is expected by some people , of him , that alas , when he is unable to solve the problems of the world , the torrent of criticism will come flooding his way .

I wish him well
