Suspended for possesion of Cannabis - I need to know more
6 Answers
I am only 13 years old but I really need a descent answer for this question. Whether it is good or bad I need to know. But anwyay, when I was in Year 8 I went to a party after school one day and everyone was smoking weed. Then I went to school the next day and I was emptying out my bag because I couldn't find my school book and a small bud of weed fell out in a small see through bag and unfortonately a teacher saw. My parents got called into the school and I got suspended for 1.5 days however I did not got arrested, I got offered help to get my 'problem' sorted out so I wouldn't get a conviction which was so lucky. But anyway I want to be an airline pilot when Im older, and I am planning to emigrate to Australia in a few years time as soon I have completed my GCSE's. I will get flying lessons and everything which requires to be a pilot, but will they find out about the suspension in School even though I will be roughly 25 years of age? If I have my license, my qualifications and obviously not a conviction, will they find out?
Cheers

Where was the responsible adult!!!! How could an 8 year old get a conviction???? that is just biot possible in thsi country. You may have been taken into care!!!! you did not got arrested!!!! why would you??? you were (supposedly) 8.
I could go on but it all seems kinda pointless. Oh but how did u have a problem, with weed if that was your first and last time using it???? I am definately knocking this in the head now it is just beyond belief.

ADW, the suspension is not likely to be mentioned and in any case was not a conviction. You were so very very lucky and always be grateful to whichever god, angel or uber-being was looking out for you. ie don't ever even think it might be a good idea ever again.
Dot, sadly by Year 8 ie second year of secondary school, many children have been exposed to worse things than weed.

To everyone who replied back -
you might of got confused between Year 8 and the age 8. I meant a school year 8, so I would've been 12/13 (but was actually 13 when the suspension happened).
But I appreciate all of your comments so much. And yes, jno and benchmarrow I agree with you completely. My dad has a similiar job except he is a captain of a ship and goes all round the world and he gets tested medically so I will follow on.
But again, your answers are valued
Thanks
