Oddly we seem to have an unreasonable fascination with a country so far away which views us as just a museum.

The media love it because its easy and cheap to pump out endless programmes.

We need to think 'outside' the box. Regardless of whether it changes anything for 'us' I think for the black American people, Barack Obama ends the injustice of the years of humiliating segregation they remember. All the hard work that was fought by Martin Luther King & others, finally a feeling of equality. I hope he lives up to their expectations.
