Anyone have a pet with a strange habit?

I used to have a budgie that slept upside down in a food pot.

She was a rescued bird, quite old I think, and the first night I picked her up, settled her into her cage and went to bed. The next morning I thought she'd expired. She was head-first in the seed pot, with her tail sticking up.

Feeling sad, I opened the cage to remove her, and woke her up! Strange, but she always, right up until her death, slept in a pot.

My mother once looked after a Yorkshire Terrier for a couple of weeks while her owners went on holiday . It used to eat it's food while standing balanced on only its front legs , its back legs raised high off the floor !

my cat will only drink water out of a tap!
if he wants a drink he will jump into the sink and wait for you to turn it on!

I have a cat and I think she ahhem masturbates on sticky up cushions.

I have another cat who has a rather bad habit of requiring vetinary treatment at least once a month and he costs me a small fortune. Tonight's episode was obviously having a minor skirmish with a car (covered in oil and claws shredded). Fine, if a little shaken.

my uncles dog goes shopping at the local supermarket....no kidding!! lol

the shop assistants all know him and greet him as he comes in the door!
