In the recent series with Heston Blumenthal & Little Chef,
Mr Pgler (MD of Little Chef) kept referring to "Blue Sky Thinking".Is this a recognised expression,or just something he has thought up?

A blue box I presume! LOL
explain how these are useless legend??
Unfortunately it's a real phrase!

thinking that is not grounded or in touch in the realities of the present; open-minded thinking (i.e., as wide and clear as the blue sky)
