how old to do a paperound ?

not sure where to post this one !

my son is 12 and was due to start a paperound.he was turned away,however,as he was told he was not old enough.

i alway thought that paperboys/girls could do rounds at this age ? anyone know the legal age for this ?

Legal age for a paper round is 13.

legal age is 13, then again it depends on what newsagent you go to. some newsagents look for paper boys/girls who are slightly older.
