Yellow Fiat Sport

I have coveted one of these beautiful cars since i first saw one, and every time one drives by, I look longingly at it.
I may hopefuly be getting a promotion at work, so I have promised myself one as a reward / treat.
My wife says they are a magnet for vandfals, although I have never ever seen a damaged one.
Can anyone confirm or deny her opinion?
BTW, if I get my grade, I am having one!

May have been true in years gone by Tony, but not anymore. You can buy a Fiat with as much confidence as you can a Ford or a Vauxhall.
I understand and appreciate the stigma Italian marques have had over the years, but that stigma is no longer warranted.
I am an Alfa fan (part of the same stable), and in the last 15 years have owned 6 different models and not once - seriously, not once - have I ever been let down by them.
Anyway, Andy, I assume you are talking about the Fiat 500, which is a brilliant little car: We've had one for the last six months and we love it. So much so, we are seriously considering upgrading to the Arbarth Essesse when it comes out.
I have not heard of any increases in vandalism of these cars, but I guess it largely depends on the type of area in which you live. There are always going to be certain types in society who are jealous of people because they have something that they don't, and therefore to assuage their jealousy, they damage what is not theirs.

My old boss bought a brand new Alfa 159 in 2007 on a 57 plate. He drove out of the dealership and did a right, down a small street with traffic calming measures.
As he hit the second speedbump (at careful speed!) the centre roof console dropped out of the roof and was dangling in his view from its wires!
To be perfectly fair I understand it's been fine since.
