Hi im 14 and need a job. I've done a paperround which i didn't enjoy and a babysitting job in the past. I like challenges but I'm not sure where to start.
from what I have seen leaflet companies want you to be 16 too and my only experience was not good papers are you best bet I know its hard and not well paid (I did it for a while) but its as good as you will get, a full round of free papers is probably going to get you more satisfaction than a daily round of houses here and there, before getting yourself illusioned consider this: I just started work on the minimum wage and I'm getting 4 after tax and national insurance, delivering papers I got as much as 5 /h so I wouldn't be fussy
I'm 14 too and had the same problem as you so I got a job in a hairdressers sweeping the floor, it's an easy job and the pay is quite good, just ask at your nearest BUSY hairdressers.
I was washing pots in a hotel when I was 14. I loved it. The best bit was when we finished the shift and the chefs would raid the bar and get me p155ed! Lol!
hi,, i too am 14 and rly need a job aswell, i have tried all the stuff you mentiond,, but am bout to try cafes and hotles,, it might be a good place for you to start also i would advise that you dont look for a job in a large company like macdonalds as these dont tend to take u16 / 18 normally,, i would surgest little shops like maybe a bakery or a pet shop, something along thoses lines.
hope ive helped,
