We've got two video recorders and they work fine.
But,we do have a dvd player in the kitchen.
Mind you, the telly we have in the lounge is an old 26" Mitsubishi one which is fairly wide at the back.The only thing wrong with this telly is that, as it's an old one it does not have a Scart connector to connect Dvd players to it.
We've had it for quite some time now,and the picture reception is perfect.The video player is underneath the tv.
If we have to see a dvd on tv ,I use my PS2 for that...

My bloody video has ceased to work since I bought a new telly. Every time I try and do something with it it says "safe". and turns its toes up. Which means I have to travel 25 miles to use a colleague's video in Chambers. She can have mine!

Safe, my ar$e. It ain't going to feel very damn safe when I chuck it out the window.
