I used this awful wax once, my hair was completely saturated with it and I washed it 3/4 times to no avail. I went to the hairdressers to get my hair cut and they couldn't wash all of it out either. The hairdresser said the only real way toget it out is to use dishwashing detergent like Fairy, which makes sense as that stuff is used to break through cooking grease. Try to use a gentle one so it doesn't hurt your hair too much, but it should get the grease out. In the future, NEVER use that terrible wax again!
dude! dont worry about! There is an actual Dax vegetable oil remover that u can use. Its jus a simple wash out jobby! Its as easy as that! It used 2 come free with Dax Wax but not anymore:( but hey! Anyway jus have a look 4 that stuff or alternatively use Fairy Liquid it does the trick! Long Term Dax Wax User
I've been using Dax wax for longer than I can remember and you're right, it's a nightmare to get out of your hair. Luckily, Boots sell the Dax Vegetable Oil shampoo which gets it out pretty well. It's expensive though - 4.99. Sally Hair and Beauty also sell it much cheaper if yopu've got one of them near you.
do not wet your hair and put shampoo in ancomb through this does help to break it up and yes fairy liquid works too. Took me a whle to work this one out as well
