freezers in the garage
9 Answers
I have had a small chest freezer in my garage for the past 15 years, it is now icing up on the outside and round the top and has to be opened using a knife, I would like to replace it with an upright freezer with drawers but I would like to find out the pros and cons from people who have had experience of keeping this type of freezer in a garage. I am in the UK. Thanks, Kath.

I don't want to pay out approx 300 and then find it isn't suitable as there is no room to keep it in the house. Kath.
Our upright freezer is in the garage , it's
a self defrosting one , never had a problem
with it . We bought in our local Euronics
shop with free delivery etc . and the guy
was so helpful ..forget about Comet , Curry ..
shop locally as the big stores will charge for
everything ..Where are you in the UK?

Thanks ethel I will try that.
theonlyone, thanks for your reply it was a big help. We are in Halifax, West Yorkshire and don't have a Euronics store locally but we tried a store called direct discounts which have slight seconds and also currys, the least said about currys the better, they just aren't interested. What make have you got? and how has it coped with this cold weather we have just had? Thanks, Kath.
