BUYING A CAR

I have 6k to spend on a car - I fancy a Suzuki JIMNY. What do you think? Anyone got one or can recommend something else (decent and bit different !)?

hired one on holiday in cyprus and it was a dream to drive. Only thing that annoyed me was the indicator being on the right hand side of the steering wheel - dont know if this is a feature of the vehicle or a cyprus thing (although cypus have right hand drive cars and they drive on the left so possibly standard with the car!) good road holding but i felt every bump that we went over!!

Thanks! I am going to test drive one this weekend. That's the thing that worries me, the noise levels (in the soft top) and the bumps!!!

It seems to be standard on Suzukis to have the indicator on the right and the wipers etc on the left. They can be a bit bouncy over bumps but that's the trade off of the short wheelbase and high centre of gravity ' a problem with most small 4x4 jeep vehicles. I tried a Jimny and found that the drivers seat didn't go back quite far enough for me - I'm average height. But the fun factor is high!!!!!

could be a potential problem..i'm 5ft 10 and my boyfriend is 6ft 5!!
