where is my question

i put a question in technology last night and received 3 answers back in my e mail.
when i clicked on the answers nothing came up just the AB homepage.
why is this please

The message you get in your e-mail box is not an answer to your question. This is just a notification that you have had an answer on this site.
You have to go back to your original question on here to view the answers..............not your emails.

ethel i know you are right,i have clicked on the answers in my e mail but it keeps going back to the homepage and cannot find my question anywhere

Sometimes threads are removed only to be reinstated some hours later; I suppose it sometimes has to do with some reply having been reported and the whole thread will be temporarily removed while Ed has a look at the content. Dunno, just guessing. Anyway, have you tried accessing your question through your My Profile?

If your question was to do with using illegal software then it will have been removed by the editor.
