You could purchase a single 1p sweet, stream a music single for 1p, sheets of paper valuing 1p in total, airtime on a phone (it wouldn't be a long conversation) i'm sure there are loads of others...

when I worked at Wilkinson we often had sale items for 1p, when they were 99% off. usually cheap tat but still, a penny!

theres a program on a music channel on sky that sells all sorts of things for the lowest bid and the lowest bid you can enter is 1.
