I was coming out of Tescos car park, and they have this stupid system where all the cars leaving the car park have to pass in front of the shop! There is a zebra crossing and more often than not you have to stop for shoppers. But this time there was a securicor van just past the crossing, and then all of a sudden, just as I was passing said van, a man stepped out from behind it........It's a good job I was going slow! He waved at me and mouthed 'sorry'. But it shook me up a bit.

We all make mistakes - in this case it was the bloke's mistake and not yours. He seems to have acknowledged that by mouthing a 'sorry' to you. Don't feel bad. You did nothing wrong and at least you've been able to acknowledge the apology and didn't get angry about someone's genuine mistake.
I've been in his situation before - almost cleared someone up, pulled out in front of them or some other near miss. If I've known it's been my mistake I have always tried to mouth my apology, yet so many just bang on and get really angry about things, even when they don't have a point to make.
If it makes you feel better, why not write to the security company and tell them how you feel?

i once had a lad on a skateboard come flying down a hill and onto the road i was driving along.
Luckily he jumped off as, even though i stopped as fast as i could, his skateboard went straight under my wheels.
The lad look terrified, but even more so when the driver of the car behind me (which had stopped just as fast) got out of her car and slapped him around the head.
Turns out it was him mum and realised that it had been his stupid mistake.
that shook me up all day, just wondering what if, but as i said, he wasnt hurt so i shouldve let it go.
if the "what ifs" that scare, isnt it

Supermarket car parks seem to be one of the most likely places to have an accident. Shopping frustrates people and trolleys are all over the place, kids whizz out from behind cars, and cars drivers often just reverse out without looking properly. A complete minefield.
I always get very aggravated by the bright sparks who drive too fast in car parks. We get a fair few boy racers in the Tesco car park here!!
