Can someone tell me the Vietnamese name for the conical hats that they wear.
Also, would anyone know where to buy them in bulk?

According to an online dictionary, a "hat" in Vietnamese is "danh tu". Sorry, but I've no idea where such a thing may be bought.
Name is I think a 'non la' - male and female versions differ slightly - and not just the ribbon to keep them on...variation on coolie hat shape as they are also called.

Lots of sources for them in web. One is: http://www.esources.co.uk/supplier/22240/ is London based importer of Vietnamese goods - log on site for access to contact details.

http://www.fuzing.com/vci/00035845f298/VIET-DE LTA-INDUSTRIAL-Co-Ltd for Vietnam based maker and supplier if you want to get ino the import business as well.

Hope that helps.
