Albondigas.
4 Answers
I recently went out to a restaurant and had a dish called Albondigas (pronounced al-bon-dee-gass). It was a type of meat-balls, very well spiced, but not hot as in chillies, served in a tomato garlicky sauce. It was a sort of mediterranean/North African dish and absolutely delicious. I can't find a recipe anywhere. Does anyone out there have any idea how to make the dish - the chef refused to give me his 'secret' recipe!!

I think it is originally a Spanish dish - I have eaten in Spain a number of times. Just google "albondigas" and you will get lots of recipes. Here is one for starters (no pun intended!)
