A 90 pair of jeans I wear have just came out the wash machine and have discovered that the dye on the leather patch on the rear near the waistline has come out all over my jeans and permanently stained them. I bought the jeans approximately a year ago, and have no receipt. What can I do? I have always washed them as instructed!

if you've washed them plenty of times and they've been fine, you must have used a different setting this time. if they have "just come out of the wash" you don't know that the stain is permanent.
You cannot claim a pair of jeans is faulty after you have used them for a year.

Ive washed them since. meant just as in couple of days ago!
You don't have a leg to stand on. There's no way you'd be able to convince the manufacturer that you've had the jeans for a year, and every time you've washed them they've been fine, and now, due to an alleged manufacturing fault, the tag dye has bled. .
