How long do you keep receipts!!?

I am emptying out my purse ( a rather nice Radley one btw) and have got receipts going back to August when I was abroad!

Are you a hoarder of receipts and the likes or do you bin them all LOL

i just looked in my bag to answer that question, oldest one I have is for a biscotti and a drip coffee dated 2004. It was in one of those little front pockets though and I do have a gazillion handbags.

I only take them out when I cant close my purse, BUT they then go into a box lol

FFS Goodsy 2004!! I thought that I was bad with 6 months! And of course you cannot have too many handbags...or shoes....or watches.

lol i can never find useful receipts though Hayz. If I want to return something I can rarely find it. End up going through manky bins and stuff.

I keep most reciepts, except food shopping, i only keep them a month or so. I still have the florists reciept from my wedding in 1978

Me too Goodsy, I have some paint that I want to take back that I bought last week and can't for the life of me find the receipt!

Hi dot, I think thats nice for you to keep your florist receipt as its a special occasion. :)

I go through my purse & wallet every week. I put all the sales receipts & refunds in a clear plasic folder/envelope.

When I've checked our bank statement/s, I then shred the ones I don't need anymore. The ones we need to keep for guarantees, etc., go in a small filing cabinet .

Oooh smudge I used to shred a lot of my receipts and bank statements and stuff then broke the blooming shredder!!
