Hot Flushes coming back???

Been on a low dose recently of hrt,finished a couple of weeks ago, think i am getting them again slightly!!!

The hot flushes can go on forever in some women. Sorry. They can be helped by taking BLACK COHOSH .

I was going to say exactly the same as beejaybee. I recommended the black cohosh to a friend who is now hooked. I take black cohosh with liqorice from Zipvit. Cheap and effective.

I've had hot flushesfor 12yrs now and no sign of them disappearing. Will see if that Black cohosh is available here and have a go on it - driving me mad!!!!

Yes, but it appears they have now carried out the substantial new research.

"Substantial additional research must be undertaken before it can be established that black cohosh, or some compound found in black cohosh, is a breast cancer chemopreventive agent," the researchers write.

"Furthermore," they stress, "women may wish to seek guidance from their physician before using these compounds."

Just trying to say that we have to take care and perhaps talk to our GP's for up to date advice. I wasn't trying to say you were wrong.
