Further, the guy who provided the first answer to your question yesterday ('Leggy' as he's known to the regulars around here) lives in the Canary Islands. (So he ought to know).

For many years there was no service. After many false starts, a service commenced in December 2007. The ship sank on 2nd May 2008 and the service has been withdrawn.

There is no other service at present and no likelihood of there being one at any time in the future.
