Hi there...I do this a lot with chicken thighs...I dont ever measure the ingredients but just put what I fancy into a big bowl - runny honey, dark soy sauce, fresh ginger and garlic, dried chili flakes(go easy as they are HOT!) or fresh chopped chili. Mix well and marinade the chicken in it for as long as poss...makes some rough slashes in the skin of the chicken.....put on a greased baking tray, gas mark 5 until they look ready! About 40 minutes and make sure u turn regularly and keeping basting! In fact I may well do this for tea tonight...a firm favourite in our house. Good luck.....
PS: If you have no honey add a bit of brown sugar as this helps them get sweet and crispy. xxx
similarly, i do them with 100 mls soy sauce and 100gr honey with some garlic added. we are having it tonight with potato wedges 45 mns on 180/190 c
