Noisy neighbours

My next door neighbours have started to get really noisy in the bedroom department!. Now I'm quite open minded but my folks will be visiting soon and it could be rather embarrassing. I'd know them to say hello to but that's about as far as it goes. Any suggestions!?

Yeah my neighbours are always banging on the walls.

They bang on the walls and scream, can hardly hear myself drilling some nights!

Seriously though, you can wither be subtle to the neighbours about "did you realise how thin the walls are in the houses round here?".....or you can just ignore it...or you can contact the local council but that depends really if you want to suffer the embarrassment of having to explain it to the council worker that comes round with their testing equipment!

I actually - yes, really - laughed out loud, but refuse to use that idiotic three-letter acronym that others use to indicate this...usually falsely, I suspect.
