Found Cat

There is a cat which has been hanging round my house .... trying to mate with my cat. Its limping really badly and I can't approch it .I don't think anyone owns it because of its leg but someone might so I don't want to put flyers out and my mum won't let me bring it in for obvious reasons . What should I do ?

Get in touch with your local Cats Protection branch - they will know how to catch the cat. They will arrange to have a vet examine the cat and also to either find its owner or rehome it with a new owner.

In the short term, put out some cat food (and fresh water) where the cat can get to it.

Then contact the Secretary of your local branch of Cats Protection:

They'll make sure that someone rescues the cat and looks after it.

the cats protection will ask you to feed it and place a paper collar on it with a phone no that the owner can ring if it has 1 if after a few days no one has rung then they will put it on the waiting list and take it when they have a pen available
