Jews in Britain

I know this a bit on the poitical side, but i'd like to know, if you don't mind, what is your conception of Jews in this country?.

I ask this, because some of the replies and posts in the news section, were most definately anti Jewish, as well as being anti Israeli,
With whats happening, and peoples perspectives, I can understand the anti Israeli part, but I find it hard to understand the spite that came out, (only from a few), against Jews.

Haven't seen any jews in the papers living on state benefits.

This is one reason why child support is so important. The
people however, who in fact produce most children, are primarily religious, Christian, Jewish and Muslim. Actually one of the reasons for the phenomenal growth of the Charedi world has been the cushion that State benefits have provided for large families. As a very heavy proportion of
Charedi men do not work but study they are and their children are certainly not going to help increase the pool of future tax payers.

Lonnie, I am not American, and I agree with you completely about the US. They are far from perfect, but better than the tyranny of extrememists of all types that seem to be hyped by the dogmatists
