I found a San Disk with 1500 images on. They belong to someone from New Jersey. I've managed to get some help from a guy in the States, but he says he needs the USB key? What does he mean? I know. I'm a duffer at this stuff, but any help would be appreciated. TIA.

shame ... might have been a reward NOT to return it
I'm not great with IT but I think that if you put the scan disk / USB into your computer then check property's it may have some kind of serial number which gives it's ID.
