How old are you? If you are around 40ish it could be gall stones, this pain would be in the upper right quadrant, just under your ribs and can be one of the really bad pains that just doesn't seem to go. Do you have nausea? If it isn't any better in an hour or so, ring NHS direct, they will help you and advise you. I hope you feel better soon.
I think its in the upper part of my stomach Jenna. the large intestine I think. Can't really describe it.
I probably will pull a muscle doing all that Ethel. I'll bear it in mind though. Thanks x
I'm 37 going on 38 Daisy. I do have a re-occuring stomach ulcer problem but the pain is different. Its not as bad as an ulcer pain but probably the same as a bad period pain.
I guess you're right DeadMan. Maybe I should just ignore it. I'm just thankful its not the ulcer playing up otherwise I'd be doubled up and definitely not on AB.
tiggerblue, i wasnt being silly with my answer. just saying that the human body can give pain for no apparent reason. headaches for example. ask any neurosurgeon why peole get headaches and i guess most will tell you its just a headache. no reason for them.
