Rover Key Numbers !

I've recently had the keys to my Rover 620SLi stolen and I cannot get a replacement cut because I can't get the original key number from Rover now that they are in receivership. I bought the car second hand and was not aware that I should have also been given a 'red key' so that replacement keys could be 'chipped' to talk to the immobiliser. Can anyone point me in the right direction to getting this probelm solved as until I do, I can't even get into the car !!! Any help would be much appreciated.
