Wow! I've found the other person who watches BBC4!

(Yes, it was great)
I came across him a couple of nights ago from a thread on this site.
He is excellent but then I have always loved blues

What tv programme was he on cos I will look out for the repeat?
I missed it sadly.. but yes he is a great artist, just about the only true blues artist left now.
I posted the Seasick links the other night. So nice to hear that others enjoy his gritty yet humorous performances.
Yes Pasta, thanks it was your links.

I'll try and download an album to my ipod. Any recommendations?
it was this that first got me into him (about 2 years ago at a rough guess ;))

With some of the modern shallow artists hiding behing pitch correction and too much technology, how nice to have a guy, a groove tube, a stomp box and a 3 string guitar.

just made for JD and Coke and a night in !!

Pasta, if you like the first one then yes get the second one...

Also turning volume up and now playing it :)
Will visit HMV tomorrow....thanks

on a not totally dissimilar note, the hamsters and wishbone ash are playing at the junction on may 14th .. that will be a gig ! if you've never seen the hamsters live they will totally blow you away.

.....*** the junction - cambridge ***
I love how hes finally getting reconition - I work in a recird shop and it took a while for it to start but now things have really took off. The tv show was really good, my other half and I really enjoyed it. If you get a chance check out Son Of Dave - not the same genre but the same crazy instrumented made up style.
