Hair disaster!!

Hi, I got an all over hair colour (blonde) and highlights done last Thursday night. The hairdresser left the all over colour in my hair for 2hours while she proceeded with the meche highlights. As a result the colour on my roots came out a really really bright yellow. It looks way to bright against my skin. It looks really cheap and chavish. This is NOT th elook I was going for! I just wanted a sun-kissed blonde, natural looking. My hair looks fine when I wear it down but when it's tied back and you can see the roots, it loks AWFUL! Is there anything I can do to tone it down somewhat? Thanks for any advice!

Oh dear, did you not notice this after the hairdresser had done it, You may have been able to get it sorted there and then. Only thing is to go back and explain exatcly what you have on here. maybe leaving out that they have turned you into a chav :-)

Do exactly that - put a toner on it which should last about 10 washes.

Go back and see your haridresser before you try and do anything at home.
If you tinker with washes at home, and it doesnt work or makes it worse, the hairdresser wont be obliged to sort it out.

Go back, and explain calmly why you arent happy, and ask them to fix the matter. Any decent hair salon will do this free of charge.

I am afraid you should bite the bullet and go and complain. I can feel for you because I would find it hard but they will understand and fix it for you.
